BLOM is a luxury event floral design and premium decor rental studio based in Bloemfontein, South Africa. Operating from our flagship location in Dan Pienaar, we specialize in high-end wedding styling, experiential event design, and curated botanical collections.Â
We fuse contemporary, trend-forward floral art with structural elegance to tell unforgettable visual stories across the Free State, Northern Cape, and premium destination wedding venues nationwide.

Chané Swanepoel
The Owner
With more than a decade’s experience at the forefront of floral design, Chané is one of Bloemfontein’s most respected florists. Having trained under the iconic SA School of Weddings, she later worked as some of Bloem’s most prestigious florists on luxury events and weddings. In 2017 she founded BLOM to reflect her own intimate and artistic approach. Born a true designer, Chané has always loved the pace and creativity of fashion design, something that’s an endless source of inspiration to her. Yet she also craves the peace and natural beauty of the great outdoors. It’s this balance, between the vibrancy of the creative arts and the beauty of the natural world that defines Chane’s own individual style.
Drawing on her love of colour and texture, she combines romance and wildness in rich, generous compositions that are both thoughtful and unexpected. Her studio and shop are bursting with full blooms and and plants & the lingering smell of freshly made coffee. It’s in these peaceful spaces that Chané and her team create their designs, inspired by the beauty that is found in the details of everyday life.
